Midyear in Saginaw

Thank you to the Sisters and Brothers of Saginaw for hosting an energetic and engaging Midyear marked by strong attendance and substantive discussion on the matters before our Order. Past DOP Governor Joanne Dau, speaking on behalf of the Daughters of Penelope, graciously presented a recognition to James Thomas, Past District Governor and the 2025 AHEPA Governor of the Year. We likewise extend our appreciation to Brother Governor Economopoulos, Lieutenant Governor Merek Vincent, Treasurer Aristidis Thomas, and Marshal Theo Alexander for their leadership in facilitating a well-run men’s session, and to DOP Governor Calli Duncan and her lodge for their thoughtful and effective preparation of the women’s session.

District Treasurer Aristidis Thomas reported that the Milton Testimonial generated over nine thousand dollars for scholarships, while the District Golf Outing contributed over four thousand dollars, bringing the combined total to an amount exceeding fourteen thousand dollars in support of the Educational Foundation of District Ten.

The day reflected the significant work undertaken throughout the year by District Ten. The AHEPA men look forward to reconvening at their District Convention this May at Lincoln Park 391 to conduct the business of the Order.
